Sales Tax

AVAIL Forensics Systems does not collect sales taxes as a typical practice. If AVAIL Forensics Systems charges no sales tax and the item is subject to sales tax in the purchaser’s state, it is the purchaser’s responsibility to pay such tax.

Credit Card Usage Fees

AVAIL Forensics Systems wants you to know there is a chance of a 4% fee of the sales price on all credit card purchases. This is depending on the banks working relationship with one another while processing your credit cards. This amount goes straight to the card processing bank.

Orders placed by public agencies, including local and U.S. governments, counties, cities, states, hospitals, or other government-associated facilities, may pay by check, credit card, electronic funds transfer (EFT), or be billed at Net 30 terms. Orders placed on the website may be paid via credit cards or purchase orders. All orders from private organizations or individuals are required to prepay by check, money order, EFT, or credit card. Net 30 terms can be established after a credit reference check is completed and approved. Any balances not paid within terms are subject to a 1.5% per month interest charge. Returned checks will be subject to a $30.00 service charge.

Returns and Refunds

If there is ever a need for a return on any non-custom build systems or kits, there will be a 10% restocking fee or USD 50.00, whichever is greater.

Foreign Accounts

Foreign accounts are required to prepay in U.S. funds by wire transfer or credit card. Checks are also accepted but may cause delays due to additional time needed for U.S. and international banks to process the payment. All banking charges, including negotiating and paying banks, are to be paid by the purchaser. A written purchase order is required to process orders from all foreign customers. All freight costs, packaging, taxes, duties, handling charges, and costs associated with shipping arrangements are the customer's responsibility. Certain items may require an export license from the U.S. Department of Commerce before shipping.
